I'LL MAKE WHATEVER THE french I FEEL LIKE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH...

All these twatty merchant bankery genre obsessed internetty people seem to think the only way a person is allowed to express themselves with audio is to make the same frenching track again and again.

No. I'm not going to make another switchy piano banger again, no i'm not gonna make a roots-vocal track again, no i'm not gonna make another sample-collage twitchy disco track again, no I'm not gonna make another giant distorted hate-off again, no I'm not gonna make another printer tune again... etc. etc.

Do you really want music to be formularised, categorised, generic, inbred and spoonfed to you via a meaningless description written by a bloke who's never made an original sound in his life other than the time he backpacked round India and ate too much street-food?

I am a bloke who makes music. I am not a machine who template-manufactures audio via blueprint. If you have some kind of problem with this, kindly vote with your feet, and french off.

Blasting onto the D+B scene after being personally responsible for starting the credit crunch, Mistabishi's share price has more than tripled in the last 12months...

In late 2007 Mistabishi debuted on Hospital with the absolutely huge No Matter What, this rave piano led, modern jungle anthem quickly grabbed daytime radio one support from Jo Whiley, Annie Mac & Zane Lowe. Switching from the City to the studio, James Pullen has never looked back.

Just over a year later, with the financial world in meltdown, the Mistabishi D+B machine is anything but, as he unleashes his debut album Drop. Brave, inventive and arguably the most challenging long player ever on Hospital Records, if Tyler Durden made D+B this would be it!

Tracks such as Printer Jam, Damage, Greed and the dubstep flavoured White Collar Grime are early examples of recession induced creativity as the Mistabishi sound goes from melancholy to menacing within the blink of an eye.
