when you're ready, i'll show you what i mean...

Tax return...

looks like i have to go thru my amazon rainforest's-worth of receipts to get the VAT figure because it seems as if i am now, technically, self employed; an independent contractor. lol at this receipt tho from a 24hr garage:

Snickers - 50p
Walkers Sensations Th.Sw.Ch. - 50p
Mars Milk - 80p
Maltesers - 50p
Monster Munch Pi.On. 40p
Walkers Sa.Vi. - 40p
What Car? Magazine - £3.99p
Sandwich BLT - £2.89
Cherry Coke Can - 55p
Marlboro Lights 20pk - £5.10
Innocent Smoothie - £2.50

what a mess.

i'm a bit non-plussed at having to pay tax tbh... seeing as most of it will go to an organisation that will try to lend it back to me at a profit in about 4 years time... but then again i did work for one of them. ugh. morality. what a sexy beast.

oh. i'm not allowed to swear on here ...

dang... good honest Anglo Saxon words too. ancient words. well this is gonna be tricky... you want me to to post things about music and investment strategies at the same time... without swearing? well i'll try...

Iron Butterfly.

Quality 60's psy-rock outfit, with one tune that completely smacked it. (Inna Gadda Da Vida).

also the name of a really sick spread-trade where you hold four options: low strike put, mid strike put, mid strike call, and high strike call. pretty much a neutral position.

phew. didn't say f.uck once.

mmmm... marketingy

it vex me to see myself associated with the 21st century's first greatest mistake. especially when it's aligned to the one remaining thing i do that i get some kind of *innocent* enjoyment out of. (even if some of the tracks have unauthorised soundfiles and lyrics about abusively fetishistic relationships in them).

What's the safe word?

Blasting onto the D+B scene after being personally responsible for starting the credit crunch, Mistabishi's share price has more than tripled in the last 12months...

In late 2007 Mistabishi debuted on Hospital with the absolutely huge No Matter What, this rave piano led, modern jungle anthem quickly grabbed daytime radio one support from Jo Whiley, Annie Mac & Zane Lowe. Switching from the City to the studio, James Pullen has never looked back.

Just over a year later, with the financial world in meltdown, the Mistabishi D+B machine is anything but, as he unleashes his debut album Drop. Brave, inventive and arguably the most challenging long player ever on Hospital Records, if Tyler Durden made D+B this would be it!

Tracks such as Printer Jam, Damage, Greed and the dubstep flavoured White Collar Grime are early examples of recession induced creativity as the Mistabishi sound goes from melancholy to menacing within the blink of an eye.

Unique, paranoid, genius and deadly, spend some time with Mistabishi, you can trust him, can't you!?
